The Chocolate Chamber: Sweet Afternoon with the Chocolate Queen

One thing about me that I’ve (finally) come to admit is that I am in love with sweets. Chocolate and I have a very serious relationship; you can just imagine my face when I got the invite of no other than the Chocolate Queen herself, Ms. Raquel Choa, to join her for an afternoon of pure cacao goodness.

Together with other bloggers and media representatives, we gathered at the McArthur Club Lounge of the iconic Manila Hotel to try out one of Cebu’s gem. The Chocolate Chamber brought their goods all the way to Manila, mainly to serve the ASEAN delegates.

Chocolate de bola, anyone?

During the intimate gathering, Ms. Raquel told us her stories about how she started the craft. You can really see and feel her passion and love for what she’s doing.

I don’t even remember how many pieces of of chocolate I had, but what really caught my heart is The Chocolate Chamber’s hot chocolate. I was able to try the Hibiscus and the Salted Caramel, yup I had two cups. #NoShame

They also have their own version of pralines, cookies, and even a body scrub made out of chocolate. The Chocolate Chamber served as a reminder for me to support our local products. With the quality of this rich delicacy, I wouldn’t be surprised if it will catch the hearts of the international market.
