Spoil Yourself with Montage Skin Science

I don’t usually get daily facial treatments done, I thought my skincare routine was more than enough to keep my skin healthy. Recently, for some reason, I’ve been having an unusual amount of breakouts. (I swear, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!) I don’t know if it’s because of the weather, or because of my bad habit of not putting on sunscreen when going to the beach. (I’m always so eager to jump into the water.)

When Montage Skin Science invited me to give their services a try, I did not hesitate to say yes. I actually think that their invitation came in at the right time since my skin was not really in the best condition and I was really searching for places to get a facial.

I chose to visit their San Juan Branch because I was checked in at one of the hotels in the area; it was the most convenient during that time.

Upon entering, I noticed that the clinic looks really professional. I love modern interiors, so I found their waiting lounge extremely cozy. The staff immediately offered me something to drink and I opted for a cup (more like cups) of hot tea. The tangy aroma of the citrus blended tea was enough to give me comfort, I knew I was in for a treat.

One of my pet peeves when getting treatments from spas and salons are unsanitary equipment. I make it a habit to check if the tools they use are well kept and sanitized. Montage Skin Science did not fail my standards, aside from clean sheets and tools, I can’t help but notice how techie and modern their equipment are.

The first treatment was the Diamond Prime (Php1190), they said that it’s the premium version of a basic diamond peel. I don’t know what to compare it with since it’s my first time getting one. I can’t remember the whole process, but I can recall some sort of brush, vacuum, and steam. I guess I was too relaxed to keep track.

Next was the Oxygen Facial (Php2,490), which is designed to replenish the levels of oxygen on your skin. While a mask was left on my face, a masseuse took over and gave me a full arm massage. The whole treatment lasted for about an hour and a half.

After the treatment, I was again served some tea. My skin felt so clean, which I think is the whole purpose of a facial.
