Travel Diary: Singapore

It’s my 6th time in Singapore yet the city seems to never lose its charm. This trip was impromptu, and by impromptu I mean we booked our flight 2 days before we left Manila. I was really looking forward for this short adventure since it would be my first time to stay in Marina Bay Sands; the iconic building with a boat on top.

For this trip, we opt to skip the touristy places like Universal’s Studios, Singapore Zoo, Bird Park, etc., and just enjoy what the city has to offer. Although we often prioritize eating the local cuisine whenever we travel, we tried out Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant (The Breadstreet Kitchen) which is located just inside our hotel.

tip: TRY THE RISOTTO

I’m a sucker for modern interiors

I’ve been seeing beautiful pictures of Haji Lane on Instagram so I decided to visit it for the first time, as well. It’s filled with cute boutiques that sell unique trinkets, and it’s also surrounded with cute cafes. Definitely photo friendly.

I had a great time exploring different sides of Singapore, definitely a good jumpstart for this year’s travels.

I have been to Singapore as well and stayed one night at the Marina Sands and the other nights at some hotel that I already forget its name, but I see that I haven’t seen all of it yet, nice post.
