A Summer’s Daydream – Balesin Island

“Stare at the skies and worry not.”

Balesin Island, located at Lamon Bay in Quezon Province, Philippines, is an exclusive beach club developed by Alphaland. Balesin is known for the luxury it offers; it observes a “credit card only” policy, so bringing cash may not even be necessary.

Now, ain’t that wonderful?

You can get there in 20 minutes, from the private hangar in Manila’s airport, ย via Alphaland’s private plane. I was lucky enough to experience riding their smallest plane which is the 9 seater CESSNA Grand Caravan. Although, the company charter bigger planes from known airlines during peak seasons to accommodate more guests.

Touch down, luxury

Balesin is made up of 7 villages that are inspired by different cities from all over the world. These are Mykonos, St. Tropez, Bali, Phuket, Costa Del Sol, Toscana, and of course, Balesin.ย

Mykonos for the night, oh and prolly the best jeep ride too.

If there’s one thing I should notice about Balesin, it’s that it’s full of hot tubs, hot tubs, and right, hot tubs. All villas have built in hot tubs. I think I put a little too much bubble bath in mine.

Sending love from Mykonos and cheers to the best bubble bath ever

There are so many activities you can do in the island but I decided to just lay back and enjoy the sun. (But ofc I am just kidding) I decided to ride a horse by the beach and it is the best horse back riding experience I’ve tried. (I know I’ve said best a little too many times in this post.)

Worth the sunburn

Balesin really is the epitome of luxury. Being in the island makes you feel like you’re isolated from all sorts of worries and fears. I’m looking forward to try out the other villages and activities when I get back. I sure will be. ๐Ÿ™‚
